Sealskinz Scoulton Waterproof Warm Weather Mid Length Sock with Hydrostop (Medium) - Black

A mid-length, breathable sock, with Hydrostop™. 100% waterproof, the Scoulton thrives in warm, humid environments. The Aquasealz™ membrane releases body-generated heat and moisture, while denying the entry of water and natural bamboo lining has strong moisture-wicking properties. Hydrostop™ prevents water entering the top of sock. Sealskinz products are designed for use in the toughest of conditions, defying the elements time and time again. The Scoulton is no different: A bamboo rayon lining has strong moisture-wicking characteristics, drawing moisture away from the skin. A waterproof Aquasealz™ membrane is similarly effective in the withdrawal of moisture away the body, ensuring excellent breathability. Hydrostop™ prevents water running down the leg into and into the sock in wet, humid conditions. Made for warm weather – a Sealskinz essential. The combination of Hydrostop™ with an Aquasealz™ membrane privides complete waterproofness.

Features:

• Ultra-light waterproof socks with a regular feel
• Perfect for warm weather
• Moisture-wicking bamboo inner layer
• Hydrostop™ stops water from entering the top of the sock

Technology:

• Outer – Extra-durable nylon exterior, with 4-way stretch for an optimal fit
• Mid-Section – Aquasealz™ membrane is 100% waterproof. Also highly effective in the release of moisture vapour from inside the sock
• Interior – Bamboo lining for added moisture control
• A seamless construction, with elastic support on the ankle, providing a close fit
• Hydrostop™ - Hydrostop™ is an elastic taping around the inside cuff of the sock. This extra barrier reduces the risk of water dripping down the leg into the sock.

Please note that due to the close bond between sock cuff and skin, over prolonged use, some people may experience minor skin irritation due to the Hydrostop™ barrier rubbing against the skin. For those who experience any irritation, we recommend that Hydrostop™ socks are only used outdoors and not for a prolonged period of time.

Product Care:

Sealskinz don’t like complicated things. And when it comes to the care of your socks, they want to make it as simple as possible. This is the type of sock you can throw in the wash along with the rest of your gear. No need to line dry or wash with special detergents. Since the membrane is a solid barrier, you’ll never need to re-waterproof.

• Wash at 40ºC/105ºF
• Low Tumble Dry or Drip Dry
• Do Not Dry Clean, Iron, or Bleach

• Middle Layer - Aquasealz® waterproof membrane
• Inner Layer - 75% Bamboo Rayon, 23% Nylon, 2% Elastane
