These Terms and Conditions were last updated on and are effective as of August 19, 2025.
This Agreement outlines the terms and conditions (the โTermsโ) that apply to your participation in the Travel Universe Pty Ltd (the โCompanyโ, โweโ, โusโ, or โourโ) Ambassador Program (the โProgramโ).
To be eligible to participate, you must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and reside in Australia or a country where participation does not breach any local laws.
By joining the Program, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.
FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THESE TERMS MAY RESULT IN IMMEDIATE TERMINATION OF YOUR AMBASSADOR ACCOUNT AND ALL ASSOCIATED BENEFITS, INCLUDING FORFEITURE OF ANY UNPAID COMMISSIONS EARNED THROUGH THE PROGRAM.
Travel Universe reserves the right to take appropriate legal action under Australian law in response to any breach of these Terms.
We may update or amend these Terms at any time, with or without notice. Continued participation in the Program following any updates will be taken as acceptance of the revised Terms.

Travel Universe retains sole discretion over the approval, acceptance, or rejection of any and all applications to join the Program. By applying and/or participating, you confirm that you are at least eighteen (18) years old.
YOU MAY ONLY APPLY FOR AND USE ONE AMBASSADOR LINK.
Applying for or using more than one link per person is strictly prohibited and may result in termination of your account and forfeiture of all unpaid commissions.
If you wish to deactivate an existing Ambassador Link (e.g. to request a new one), you must email us at:ย partners@traveluniverse.com.au
Upon approval of your application, we will provide you with a unique Ambassador Link to use in accordance with these Terms. This link allows you to earn ten percent (10%) of the Gross Revenue generated from purchases made on traveluniverse.com.au using your Ambassador Link (or directly attributed to it). This amount is referred to as your โCommission.โ
"Gross Revenue" means the total amount actually paid by the customer at the time of purchase, excluding any shipping charges, GST, or other applicable taxes.
Commissions will be paid in line with our current payment practices and schedules. Travel Universe may update these policies from time to time and will make reasonable efforts to inform you in advance of any changes.
By participating in the Program, you acknowledge that the Commission is the sole form of compensation provided. You are not entitled to any additional payment, benefit, or equity in Travel Universe.
Travel Universe may provide ongoing guidance about how to appropriately use your Ambassador Link through official channels, such as email or other online platforms we designate.
You are required to join and monitor such platforms if directed to do so as part of the Program. It is your responsibility to stay up to date with all shared guidelines and updates, and you will be held accountable for adhering to them, regardless of whether you access or read the materials.
These platforms may include (but are not limited to) content portals, community hubs, or private message groups. If you are invited to participate, this will be considered a required part of your involvement in the Program.
Travel Universe reserves the right to amend guidance around permitted usage of your Ambassador Link at any time, with or without notice, at our sole discretion.

Travel Universe also provides guidance on what constitutes prohibited usage of your Ambassador Link. This guidance may be communicated through designated platforms or email. You are responsible for monitoring and complying with all such instructions.
As outlined previously, you are required to join and monitor these platforms if directed, and will be held accountable for any breach, regardless of whether you access the materials.
Current guidance for prohibited use of your Ambassador Link includes, but is not limited to:
Reusing Travel Universeโs (or another ambassadorโs) content without permission.
Sharing your Ambassador Link on public coupon or discount sites (e.g. OzBargain, Reddit, or similar).
Bidding on Travel Universe brand terms through paid advertising platforms (e.g. Google Ads).
Promoting your Ambassador Link on any Travel Universe official social media page, post, or comment section.
Making negative or disparaging statements about Travel Universeโs products, services, employees, or business practices (see Section J).
Using inappropriate, offensive, or controversial language in association with your promotions.
Contacting Travel Universe moderators or team members about orders placed through your Ambassador Link.
Messaging any Travel Universe employee or representative on personal social media accounts.
Asking staff about new product drops, restocks, or release dates. This information will not be made available in advance.
FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THESE TERMS MAY RESULT IN IMMEDIATE TERMINATION OF YOUR AMBASSADOR ACCOUNT AND FORFEITURE OF ANY UNPAID COMMISSIONS.
Travel Universe reserves the right to update or revise this guidance at any time, with or without notice. Continued participation in the Program will be taken as acceptance of any such updates.

By participating in the Travel Universe Ambassador Program, you represent and warrant that:
a) You are at least eighteen (18) years of age.
b) You have the legal authority to enter into this Agreement and to fulfil your obligations under it.
c) You will not violate any applicable Australian laws or regulations, nor cause a breach of any agreement with a third party through your participation in the Program.
d) You will not infringe upon, misuse, or violate the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or proprietary rights of any third party in connection with the Program.
e) You will not engage in any behaviour that is abusive, defamatory, misleading, harassing, profane, obscene, pornographic, hateful, racist, or otherwise offensive, unlawful, or objectionable in connection with your participation in the Program.

Travel Universe retains full discretion over your participation in the Program. We may modify or terminate these Terms, or your participation, at any time and for any reason, with or without notice. Continued participation following any changes will be considered acceptance of the revised Terms.
You are not entitled to prior notice of any termination, modification, or deactivation of your Ambassador Link. Travel Universe is under no obligation to notify you in advance of such changes.
If your Ambassador Link is terminated or deactivated, we will issue a final summary outlining any commissions earned up to the date of termination. These will be paid in line with our current payment policies and schedules.
Any commissions forfeited due to a breach of these Terms will not be paid. Your continued participation in the Program constitutes agreement to this condition if such a forfeiture is found to be warranted by Travel Universe.
Any sections of these Terms that, by their nature, are intended to survive terminationโincluding but not limited to Sections E, F, G, H, I, J, and Kโwill remain in effect following termination.

You acknowledge that Travel Universe engages in ongoing product development and marketing strategy activities. As such, you agree to the following:
At all times during your participation in the Programโand indefinitely after your participation endsโyou must keep confidential, and not disclose, use, reproduce, or distribute, any Proprietary Information belonging to Travel Universe, unless:
i) such use or disclosure is expressly authorised in writing (including by email) by an authorised officer of the Company, or
ii) disclosure is required by law.
โProprietary Informationโ refers to any private, confidential, trade secret, or otherwise sensitive information (in any form) relating to the current or future business activities of Travel Universe or its Ambassadors. This includes product development, marketing strategies, non-public information related to campaigns or partnerships, and any information disclosed to you before or after the effective date of your participation in the Program.
Proprietary Information does not include information that:
(i) is already publicly known or becomes generally known in the industry;
(ii) is lawfully provided to you by a third party without any duty of confidentiality; or
(iii) forms part of your own general skills or knowledge.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Travel Universe Pty Ltd, along with its directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, contractors, and affiliates (collectively referred to as the โIndemnified Partiesโ) against any and all claims, demands, losses, costs, damages, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable legal costs) arising from:
You must not settle any claim involving Travel Universe without our express written consent, unless the settlement fully releases Travel Universe from all liability.
If you fail to manage the defence of a claim for which indemnification is owed, Travel Universe may assume control of the defence at your expense, including all associated legal costs.

Except as explicitly permitted under these Terms, you must not issue any press release, media statement, or public communicationโwhether written, verbal, or onlineโstating or implying that you are associated with or acting on behalf of Travel Universe, without our prior written approval.

You agree not to make, publish, or communicateโwhether orally or in writingโany statement that could reasonably be interpreted as critical, disparaging, or damaging to the reputation of Travel Universe, its products, services, employees, business operations, or policies.
This includes any public or private comments that may undermine trust in the brand, misrepresent the Program, or otherwise cause reputational harm.

Independent Contractors. You and Travel Universe are independent parties. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship. You are not entitled to any employment-related benefits (e.g. paid leave or superannuation) and are solely responsible for any tax obligations arising from your participation in the Program.
Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. Travel Universe may assign or transfer its rights at any time, including as part of a restructure, merger, or sale of the business.
Amendments. We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Continued participation in the Program following such amendments constitutes your agreement to be bound by the revised Terms.
Dispute Resolution. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved under the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria in relation to any such dispute.
Governing Law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia, and the parties agree to abide by the laws of this jurisdiction.
Severability. If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that part will be severed and the remainder of the Terms will remain in full force and effect.
No Waiver. If Travel Universe does not enforce a provision of these Terms at any time, that does not mean we waive our right to enforce it in the future.
Entire Agreement. These Terms constitute the full and complete agreement between you and Travel Universe regarding the Program and replace any prior understandings or discussions.
Knowing and Voluntary Agreement.
By joining the Travel Universe Ambassador Program, you confirm that:
By participating in the Travel Universe Ambassador Program, you grant Travel Universe Pty Ltd a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable licence to use, reproduce, edit, adapt, publish, and distribute any content (including photos, videos, captions, or reviews) you create or share in connection with the Program.
This includes, but is not limited to, use on our website, social media channels, digital advertising, email campaigns, and other promotional or commercial materials.
You represent and warrant that you own the rights to this content or have permission to use any third-party materials included. You retain ownership of your content, but agree that Travel Universe may continue to use it even if your participation in the Program ends.
If at any time you do not wish your content to be used by Travel Universe, please email us at partners@traveluniverse.com.au, and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request unless otherwise required by law or existing usage commitments.
