• The 3.4 A total is shared between ports: one device can draw the full 3.4 A, two devices get about 1 A each, and all four ports in use get about 0.5 A each
• Korjo advises plugging the hub into the wall first, waiting for the blue light, then adding devices one at a time to avoid a sudden power draw
• A large tablet can ask for 2.1 A by itself, which is most of the hub's total, so give it the hub to itself when you want a quick top up
• Short circuit protection resets itself automatically once the fault is cleared
