Trangia Mess Tin- Small

I bought the small Trangia Mess Tin to put together a compact cooking kit for overnight and weekend trips. It needs to contain a stove/pot stand, fuel, matches, a fork/spoon utensil, a collapsible cup and food items. The capacity is good for heating water and soup. As for frying food, it is fine for sausages and eggs if you adjust the heat using the simmer ring on a Trangia metho burner or lift the Mess tin on and off the flame. Better than my old military kidney cup (canteen cup) due to the bigger cooking surface and comes with a lid. Takes up similar space but more versatile. A very good addition to my camp kitchen.
