I purchased this to replace the previous version of this suitcase. This 8 wheel version is certainly easier to manage than the previous 4 wheel. This was the main reason I decided to upgrade. There is nothing wrong with the previous one, in fact it has served me well for a number of years. I also appreciated the built-in lock on this one, so I don't have to worry about padlocks.
