This is my ideal travel backpack: enough capacity for a few days' gear, with space for a laptop and sundries. Wheels make it a breeze when you're loaded up, and being a backpack as well means versatility when you're not.
My one gripe is that when going from backpack to roller, the slack on the strap adjustments can drag on the ground if you don't disconnect the straps and tuck them away. I put a couple of velcro cable straps around them to fix this, and I don't think it's worthy of losing a star over. You could achieve the same effect with cable ties, or even trim the excess strap if you know you're not going to need it.
Hi there, Thanks for taking the time to leave a review for our High Sierra Freewheel Wheeled Backpack. We are glad to hear that it is your ideal travel companion, with enough space for all your essentials and the convenience of wheels. We appreciate your feedback about the strap adjustments. Your solution of using velcro cable straps is a great idea. Happy travels! Cheers Travel Universe

Great addition to studying, room for everything i need. My laptop is large and heavy so transporting it in this backpack is perfect. No need to break back as its on wheels. Lifesaver!!!
Hello Leanne, Thanks so much for the great review! We’re so glad the Freewheel has made carrying your laptop and study gear so much easier. 😊🎒 Cheers, Travel Universe.

Good quality product, fit to my purpose. So far since purchase, very durable and rigid, tough build. The wheels are hard plastic, so a little noisy on rough surfaces, but it does the job flawlessly. Definitely recommend for daily but not for flight, as it's abit weighty. But this is my own opinion. Quality A1.
Great to hear the Freewheel has been such a solid and durable fit for your needs, Azriel – built tough and A1 quality, just as it should be 💪 Wishing you happy travels ahead! Cheers, Travel Universe

does the high sierra freewheel backpack have wheel covers
No, the High Sierra Freewheel Wheeled Backpack does not have wheel covers. The smooth-rolling, corner-mounted wheels remain uncovered at the bottom base.
