Your Samsonite suitcase comes with a built-in TSA-approved combination lock, which does not require a key for customer use. The keyhole is for use only by airport security agents, such as the TSA, who use a universal master key to inspect and re-lock your bag if needed. To open your suitcase, simply use the 3-digit combination (factory-set to 000 for new suitcases).

To set or reset the code on your Samsonite combination lock, follow these steps:

1. Start with the default code: For new suitcases, the default factory code is set to 000.
2. Locate the reset button: Depending on the model, there might be a small button or lever near the dials. If there’s a button, use a pen or similar tool to press it.
3. Change the combination: While holding the reset button or lever, rotate the dials to your desired 3-digit code. Ensure all dials are aligned properly.
4. Release the reset button: Once you’ve set your code, release the button or return the lever to its original position. Your new code should now be set.
5. Test your new code: Ensure your new combination works by locking and unlocking the suitcase.
